FAQs

  • My session fees reflect the specialized, trauma-informed care I provide:

    • Individual Therapy Sessions
      $275 per 50-minute session
(Includes somatic therapy, EMDR, and parts work)

    • Couples or Family Therapy Sessions
      $300 per 50-minute session
      $350 per 75-minute session
(Ideal for navigating communication issues, trauma repair, and relational reconnection)

    • Individual Intensives
      $375 per 90-minute session
(Extended EMDR and Somatic Experiencing for deep trauma reprocessing or nervous system work)

Therapy is a significant investment—and one that can transform your relationship with yourself and others. I hold a small number of sliding-scale spots for clients in financial need. Please inquire if cost is a barrier to receiving care.

  • I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide you with a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

If your plan offers out-of-network (OON) coverage through a PPO, you may be reimbursed a percentage of session fees once your deductible is met. I always encourage clients to call their insurance provider to confirm OON benefits before we begin.

Working out-of-network allows me to protect your confidentiality, customize your care, and avoid the diagnostic limitations required by insurance companies.

  • Life happens—and I understand that things come up. I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be subject to the full session fee. This policy ensures I can hold your spot consistently and continue to offer reliable care to all my clients.

  • I offer both in-person and telehealth therapy, depending on your needs and location:

    • In-person sessions are available in my Santa Monica and Playa del Rey offices—calming spaces designed to support nervous system regulation and therapeutic presence.

    • Online sessions are available to anyone living in California. These are conducted over a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform and are just as effective for EMDR, somatic work, and parts work (IFS) when facilitated properly.

Many clients choose to alternate between online and in-person, depending on their schedule or comfort level.

  • This is one of the most common questions I receive—and the honest answer is: it depends on your goals, your history, and your pace.

That said, most clients begin to feel relief, validation, or greater clarity within the first 4–6 sessions. At the beginning of our work together, we’ll collaboratively set intentions for your care—whether you're seeking trauma recovery, nervous system repair, relationship healing, or reconnection with your body.

Some clients work with me short-term to process a specific issue, while others stay longer to deepen their healing, grow their inner capacity, and integrate change into every part of their lives.

Healing is not linear. But when you commit to this work—even one step at a time—you will feel a shift.

  • First of all, welcome. You don’t need to have the “perfect words” or know exactly where to begin.

Our first few sessions will focus on getting to know your story, your nervous system, and your goals. I’ll guide you gently through the process, introducing somatic or trauma-informed tools when you’re ready. You’ll never be forced to talk about anything before it feels safe.

My job is to create a space that helps you feel seen, heard, and supported. Together, we’ll move at your pace—and build something more sustainable than just coping.

  • I specialize in trauma therapy and nervous system regulation. My training includes:

    • Somatic Experiencing® (body-based trauma healing)

    • EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

    • Parts Work/Internal Family Systems (IFS)

    • Attachment repair, polyvagal-informed therapy, and mindfulness

Every session is tailored to your unique body, story, and capacity.

  • If you’re looking for a therapist who’s warm, attuned, and deeply grounded in nervous system work, we may be a great match. I often work with high-achieving, sensitive, or trauma-informed couples who want more than just surface-level tools—they want to feel truly connected, safe, and seen in their relationship.
